oxframe for AI coding agents

You describe the video. Your agent writes it as Rust scenes, runs oxframe check, looks at the storyboard and the report, and fixes what they name before anything is rendered. You don't need to know Rust. Your agent does.

Set it up in two commands

cargo install oxframe-cli # the oxframe CLI
npx skills add oxygenframe/oxframe-sdk # skills for your agent

The skills install into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and about twenty other agents. Rendering needs ffmpeg; a project needs Rust, which the agent drives.

Your agent

How the agent sees its work

oxframe check compiles the project, plays every scene and writes out/check/storyboard.png and report.json. Each issue names a rule (text that leaves the frame, type too small to read, a shot that stands still), a time range, the node and the line of code. The agent fixes them and checks again; the oxframe-check skill lists every rule and its fix, and Check rules shows each one before and after. With the MCP server (oxframe mcp) the same check, an inspector, single frames and a docs search are tools the agent calls directly.

Skills

One command installs all of them; each is a page of its own.

  • oxframe Make videos from code with oxframe: explainers, code walkthroughs, charts, matrices, 3D, slides and release videos as Rust scenes, checked with oxframe check (storyboard and report) and rendered to MP4 without a browser.
  • chart-video Animate data as a video: bars that grow, line series, a dot riding a curve, a sorted table, axes that zoom.
  • code-walkthrough Explain a piece of code step by step in a video: highlight lines, show a note for each step, then morph the code into its next version.
  • manim-to-oxframe Port a Manim (Python) scene to oxframe (Rust): construct, self.play with Create/FadeIn/Transform, Axes and plots, ValueTracker, NumberPlane and apply_matrix, Matrix, 3D.
  • math-explainer Make a math or algorithm explainer video in the style of 3Blue1Brown with oxframe: axes and function plots, a dot riding a curve, vectors and linear maps, matrices step by step.
  • motion-canvas-to-oxframe Port a Motion Canvas project (TypeScript generators) to oxframe (Rust async): makeScene2D, yield*, all/chain, refs, signals, waitUntil and transitions mapped one to one.
  • oxframe-check Read and fix oxframe check reports: storyboard.png and report.json with named rules (out_of_frame, text_overflow, too_fast, low_contrast, dead_time…).
  • pr-to-video Animate a pull request or a code change as a short video: the old code morphs into the new one token by token, with the changed lines in focus.
  • release-to-video Turn release notes or a changelog into a short video: title card with the version, the changes as lists, an end card.
  • remotion-to-oxframe Port a Remotion (React) video to oxframe (Rust): compositions, useCurrentFrame/interpolate, Sequence, spring, Img/Video/Audio and rendering mapped to oxframe scenes and signals.
  • slides Turn oxframe scenes into a presentation: stops on click, speaker notes in a presenter window, slide clickers, and a PDF of every stop.
  • voiceover Add narration to an oxframe video and sync the animation to spoken words: voice lines, waiting for a word, ducking music, subtitles, a text-to-speech provider.
